Division of Family Resources – Receives applications and approves eligibility for Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families and child care. DFR operates office locations in all 92 counties.

Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning – Administers Medicaid programs including the managed care system for Healthy Indiana Plan, Hoosier Care Connect and Hoosier Healthwise participants. OMPP performs medical review of Medicaid disability claims.

Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services – Manages the delivery of services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. DDRS also oversees First Steps—Indiana’s early intervention program that provides services to infants and toddlers from birth to their third birthday, who have developmental delays or disabilities.

Division of Mental Health and Addiction – Supports Indiana’s network of mental health care providers. DMHA operates six psychiatric hospitals and funds addiction prevention and treatment programs.

Division of Aging – Funds long-term care through Medicaid programs. The Division of Aging supports the development and utilization of alternatives to nursing home care, as well as coordinates and funds services through a network of Area Agencies on Aging.

Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning – Oversees early care and education and out-of-school time programs, including the On My Way Pre-K program for 4 year olds.

The Disability Determination Bureau - Works in partnership with the Social Security Administration to provide Social Security Disability and Social Security Income disability determinations and is fully federally funded.
