The mission of the Long-Term Care Ombodsman is to investigate and attempt to resolve complaints when dealing with specific state agengies.

A federal and state-funded program to improve the quality of life and care for residents (regardless of age or payer source) of long term care facilities through investigation and resolution of individual complaints and empowerment of consumers through education. Long term care facilities may include nursing facilities, residential care facilities, assisted living facilities, adult foster care homes and county operated residential care facilities.
